Possibly poisoned, definitely brain damaged, lesions breaking out all over her body, tested positive for blood parasites. If that wasn't enough she has life threatening pyometra.

Against all odds Nu Daeng struggled to stand and very quickly she started to walk very shakily. Nu Daeng never gives up and is walking more confidently every day.

She's now finished her treatment for blood parasites and we were anxious to get her checked for her cesarean operation. The vet assured us that while she was taking Doxycycline antibiotics the pyometra would be controlled.

We took her to our special cases vet for a blood test before operating. The results were not good. Nu Daeng had an extremely high liver reading of 359 which is about 3 times above the norm. She couldn't be operated on.

The vet said it was the Doxycycline that had damaged her liver even though we gave her liver meds as part of her treatment. We are now giving Nu Daeng liver tonic for a month to repair her liver. I am researching high protein, low ammonia, low salt diets for her too.

We are aware time is ticking by. Her ultrasound examination didn't show her infected uterus is worse but we are very aware her life is in danger.
